Keith Rempel is a professional electric and upright bassist currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta. He has over ten years of experience playing jazz, Afro-Cuban, Folk, Country, pop, and most things in between. He has recorded at several studios including HomeStead Recorders, Sound Extractor, and The Audio Department. Keith is also an experienced harmony singer, both on stage and in the studio.He has played at the Edmonton International Jazz Festival, Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, the International Association of Jazz Educators conference, and the Canadian Country Music Awards.
Hot Club Edmonton, the A/B trio Lizzy Hoyt, Marco Claveria, and The Ospreys are just a few of the acts Keith regularly works with.
